"Those who know me know that I am very particular about the shoes I wear and this fastidiousness has gone all the way back to the days when I still a little kid.
I never normally wear flip flops, slippers or thongs out as I believe that sort of footwear is reserved for going to the beach or hanging out at swimming pools only.
To me, people who wear slippers to go out to malls, etc. are dressing like bums.
You should only dress like a bum if you want people to treat you like one. "
